Surgery Camera

A low-cost headset camera system that can be used in the operation room during surgeries. The system allows for livestreaming or recording of the surgery for medical training and research purposes. This device was developed in collaboration with Loma Linda University Health. Patent pending.

Snuggies

Medical device designed to be used in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). It provides a mechanical system to sooth newborn babies using pre-programmed patterns. It allows nurses in the NICU to provide better attention to patients. This device was developed in collaboration with Loma Linda University Health. Patent pending.

Hemp Block Structure

A structural component that can be used to make hemp blocks for construction purposes. It provides the structural rigidity needed to build supporting walls, using the hemp fiber as insulating material. This structure was developed in collaboration with a local startup, Gauge Hemp Block Systems Corp. Patent pending.

Bike Glasses

A new invention that can provide better rear-viewing capabilities for commuting cyclists. It provides a safer way to rear-view traffic behind without losing line-of-sight with the road in front, incorporated into a set of sunglasses. Patent pending.

Broken Bolt Extractor

A handheld device that allows automotive technicians to remove bolts that were previously broken during its attempted removal process. This device provides a more automated solution and is easy to use by anyone. Patent pending.

Toilet Exhaust

A device that can be installed on any residential or commercial toilet and that removes bad odors from the toilet bowl before they spread into the restroom area. This allows a more pleasant experience for all users. Patent pending.

Hand-Controlled Ventilation

A mechanical and electrical system that allows medical professionals to control a mechanical respirator remotely and manually. It helps override a failed mechanical ventilator in emergency settings and be controlled by a certified professional. This device was developed in collaboration with Loma Linda University Health. Patent pending.

Concrete Traffic Barrier

A traffic barrier designed for safer impact absorption during an accident collision in a road. The traffic barrier utilizes a no-fines concrete material to transfer the kinetic energy from the impacting vehicle to the barrier to minimize vehicle deformation. This invention was developed in collaboration with an independent inventor. Patent pending.

Pedestrian Crossing System

A low-cost, mobile system for pedestrian crossing safety. It warns incoming traffic of a pedestrian crossing a road or street in areas where there’s a temporary need for increased pedestrian safety. The mobile system can be easily installed and removed from its location. Patent pending.

Evacuation Dam Frame

A dental device that provides a better experience for dental technicians and doctors. It can be placed on the mouth of a dental patient and helps decrease splashing and unsafe passage of saliva from the patient to the person providing dental services. This device was developed in collaboration with Loma Linda University Health. Patent pending.
